The Project Manager plays a key role in managing STAS projects, from order acceptance to project closure. They ensure that the decisions made by the project team will meet customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in project management and the ability to facilitate various meetings and engage stakeholders.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

PARTICIPATE IN PROJECT PLANNING

  • Analyze and find mitigations for risks/issues related to project deadlines, costs, and quality.

  • Review operational, technical, and contractual requirements of the project to ensure compliance.

  • Collaborate on project planning.

COORDINATE THE EXECUTION OF MULTIPLE PROJECTS SIMULTANEOUSLY

  • Coordinate teams in all project execution phases to deliver the required quality deliverables within the specified deadlines and budgets.

CONTROL AND MONITOR PROJECTS

  • Establish key performance indicators for performance measurement.

  • Maintain budgets, schedules, and any necessary project documentation for tracking.

  • Provide regular updates on project progress to key stakeholders.

ENSURE PROJECT CLOSURE

  • Coordinate product delivery to the customer. Ensure project closure, evaluate the project, and capitalize on lessons learned.

ENSURE COMMUNICATIONS THROUGHOUT PROJECTS

  • Identify and understand the needs of key stakeholders and ensure coordination of communications between the company and the client, and among different internal stakeholders.

Job requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • University degree in project management, engineering, or a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position, manufacturing environment an asset.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

  • Spoken and written languages: French and English. This position requires fluency in English due to regular interactions with English-speaking international partners. English enables providing quality service, drafting precise documents, and collaborating effectively.
